FAQ
What's a Yard?
A small pop-up hackathon. A sharp theme drops, a capped group builds for a weekend, everyone ships. That's the whole thing.
How many people get in?
Depends on the Yard — somewhere between 20 and 100. Small on purpose, so every build gets eyes on it.
Does it cost anything?
No. Never will.
Can I use any AI model?
For Yard #1, yes — bring whatever you use, or no AI at all. The theme is the constraint, not the model. Some future Yards may name a model (usually a sponsor's), but open is the norm.
Teams?
Not in v1. Solo builders only. You'd be surprised what one person ships in 48 hours.
What do winners get?
A winner badge on your profile, a spot in the winners grid, and a featured writeup. Bragging rights included.
