Gamification.
Take something mundane, an everyday task, a chore, a habit, and turn it into a game you actually want to play. One week, solo, any AI model. No teams, no gatekeepers, no pitch decks.
Chore Wars is a multiplayer co-op game that turns household cleaning into a spaceship mission. Two or three players join from their own phones and take on roles. Every real chore completed powers up part of their shared spaceship in real time. Once everyone finishes their tasks, the crew launches together.
Got a mountain of laundry? Climb it! Laundry Mountain turns folding and putting away clothes into a real-world adventure, with Basky by your side. Snap your pile, earn Laundry Metres for every item cleared and conquer three increasingly challenging mountains. Unlock badges, collect rewards and turn a dreaded chore into an achievement! Coming soon: fellow climbers, friendly rivalries and races to the summit. Built with OpenAI Codex using GPT-6.1 Sol and Astra, plus Remotion.
Judge My Tabs is a Chrome extension that turns the boring chore of cleaning browser tabs into a courtroom game. Every tab becomes a case: keep it, pin it, group it, bookmark it for later, or find it Guilty and close it. It detects duplicates, awards Justice Points, builds combos, and unlocks court ranks. Built with GPT-5.6 using Manifest V3, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Chrome APIs.
Chore Pet is a tiny pet that lives in a home you build, and the only way to keep it happy is to do your real chores. Place a sink, a bed, a plant: each brings its own chores. Leave one late and it shows as mess; do it, tap Done, and the room sparkles, your pet cheers and gifts unlock: outfits, decor, new rooms. Not needed today? Skip it honestly, for nothing. No guilt, and the pet never dies. Try a sample home in one tap: no sign-up, works offline.
Oddlings: pick a stone, hatch a tiny roommate, and turn real tidying into room keepsakes. Put away an object, prepare something for later, then self-report completion to furnish its home. No hunger meters, guilt or streak resets; gifts are unconditional. Local saves, quiet/reduced-motion controls and share postcards. Play: https://forgewrld711.github.io/oddlings-hackyard4/ Built with Morrow in Codex. Cover: illustration derived from an earlier concept; playable pets: CSS creatures.
Hold a sock up to your camera. Lock the color. Hold up another. The spirits decide if they match. Weighted Euclidean color distance compares the two samples. Match — the ghosts reunite and fly off. No match — they shake and drop back. Adjustable tolerance for different lighting. Single HTML file. No backend. No accounts. Built in one evening. 🔗 sock-seance.vercel.app ───
A game you play while you build a noticing habit. One screen. Each day it hands you one small prompt: "one thing the light is doing right now". You write one true line, press Keep, and it settles onto a growing page: a streak ticks up, a seven-tick meter fills. Miss a day and a faint seam stays where the day should be. Only noticing moves it. A full page exports as a clean A4 poem and opens the door to the paid service "A Poem for Your Moment". Single file, localStorage, no build, no network.
Errata turns your Claude Code and Codex session logs into a card run. Every monster is a pattern from your own history: the command you retried four times, the moment you stopped the agent and said "no, only this file". Every card is a rule. Your deck IS your global CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md, with a token budget, duplicates to fuse at the campfire, and a boss that replays the cases you held back. Apply writes the files with byte-exact backups and Undo. Nothing leaves the tab.
dinner.rodeo turns the everyday “What should we eat?” debate into a playful journey from too many options to one good dinner decision. Start with a location, explore real nearby restaurants, and answer a series of quick questions about your cravings, budget, dietary needs, and willingness to travel. As you play, your restaurant “herd” narrows until a few favorites emerge. You can save favorites, cut places that do not fit, and crown a dinner champion.
Riprap turns a chore into a pile of stones. Do the chore, lay one stone; name it or leave it unnamed. A chore you keep up with grows taller, so consistency reads as height, not a number. No streaks, no countdown, nothing resets. The pile is the record, not a score. Tap any stone to open its light: steer the pointer or arrow keys until it blooms in one hidden spot. Single HTML file, works offline, saves to localStorage. No account, no network, no build step.
ReelBuddy is a desktop companion that processes long videos using Gemma4 26B and generates reels for youtube shorts.
Your AI left IOUs in your code. Now they're monsters. Paste any public GitHub repo: every TODO, FIXME, HACK, placeholder, unimplemented stub and swallowed exception becomes a talking monster, and the oldest is the boss. Fix the real code, push, rescan: git decides who dies, and every kill links to the commit diff. Detection is deterministic, pinned to your exact commit. I pointed it at its own repo and it found a real silent catch {} in itself.
Clean Sweep turns everyday chores into personal speedruns with AI commentary. Choose from five chore arenas and distinct caster personalities, race against par or your personal best, and earn XP for finishing. Daily streaks and unlockable commentators make small wins worth repeating. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, OpenAI, and Deepgram, Clean Sweep brings the energy of sports commentary to getting things done. Small chores. Big wins.
Deleting emails is a real chore. This makes it fun. Zero Raid turns Gmail into a DOOM-style dungeon: every demon is a real unread email and every kill is a real Gmail action, so the only way to win is actual inbox zero. Pistol = archive, shotgun = trash, chainsaw = star, Hellfire = send a real reply then archive. Cursed demons need an answer; the boss is your most important unread. Hand-rolled TypeScript raycaster + Gmail API. Play: zero-raid.vercel.app (press D for demo mode).
INBOX RAID turns inbox cleanup into an arcade raid. Senders who flood you become bosses whose HP is their email count; every hit really archives, trashes or unsubscribes in Gmail, and Z undoes it. Then a triage board: fast calls build combos, sharp calls score more, risky ones get flagged, and ACT drafts a reply (never sent). Adaptive soundtrack, 100% in the browser, EN/PT. Play the no-login demo; the video shows a real inbox going to zero. Built solo with Claude Code.
Chores aren't hard, they're boring. Ghostrun turns them into a speedrun against your own ghost. Your first run records PB, a pixel ghost. After that you race it, and PB fades as you pull ahead. Three zones: Chore% (knock or flip the phone to split, motion proves the work), Errand% (location proves you went) and Admin% (the confirmation proves it's done). Fakes save as time only. No accounts, and nothing leaves your phone.
Receipts
Still Going is a boss fight that only dies if you finish the chore. Pick dishes, laundry, trash, vacuum and more, set 5–25 min, and start the raid when your hands hit the task. The clock is the boss's HP. Every 40–50s it asks "Still going?": tap, hold or swipe. Miss two checks or walk off and the boss wins. Last the clock for XP, a daily streak and a clear card. Runs in the browser, offline, no account.
GrimeQuest transforms everyday cleaning into a simple, camera-driven game. Capture a before photo, complete a real cleaning task, and document the result to earn self-reported XP, unlock six collectible grime monsters, and track achievements. Compare before-and-after images with an interactive slider. The privacy-first app requires no account, product selection, or photo uploads, and includes an illustrated demo for instant exploration.
Questodoro turns the Pomodoro timer into a mission board: work blocks earn XP, rank, and streaks, and you only compete against yesterday's you. Built for neurodivergent veterans and first responders: no accounts, no clutter, clear missions, rewards you set yourself, and Together mode, where a battle buddy shares a mission and checks in with one tap. Settings run live on Nona, hosted on a Zo computer. Live 24/7: https://questodoro-psi.vercel.app
DailyDungeons turns real chores into an idle 8-bit RPG. Pick a quest like dishes, laundry or trash, and your hero walks to it and battles a matching monster for as long as the real chore takes. Hit Begin, do the chore, hit Finish, and collect loot. Win gold, gear and XP, shop for upgrades, and level up. Slack off and the Grime Curse builds until the Trash King, Grime Hydra or Dust Wraith rise in the Sunken Cellar. It runs on any screen.
ChoreQuest turns household chores into game loot. The parent is the GameMaster: they create a squad, set chores, and pick rewards from a live loot catalog — real Fortnite shop items, Robux packs, Minecoins — matched to the kid's games. The kid (Gamer) picks up quests, does the real work, submits photo proof. The GameMaster reviews and approves, and the loot drops instantly.
Cozy Wash is a cozy laundry game you play once a day in your browser. Flip the tiles to find the laundry, sort it, dose the washer, pay with a coin or a tap, then wash, dry, and fold each piece into the basket. When the basket’s full, a receipt prints with a title and a short note from the attendant, and you’re done until tomorrow’s new basket. Watch out for the red sock in the whites, the phone in a pocket, and the cat napping in the pile. It needs no accounts or downloads.

Theme: Gamification. Take something mundane, an everyday task or a chore, and turn it into a game you play while you do it. The real task has to get done. A game about laundry doesn't count; a game that gets the laundry folded does. The idea can be old. The code cannot. Write it all during the build week, Monday 18:00 UTC to Friday 18:00 UTC. Bring any AI model you like. It's open. Capped at 50 builders. Check in before kickoff or your spot releases at the bell. Solo builders only. Open-source your repo. Ship a demo video. That's it.
